X MEN FIRST CLASS

The movie X Men demonstrates diversity in many ways. The characters differ in personality, physical appearance, and have different super power. Most of all the characters in the X Men movie represent the extremes of diversity because they are far from what is considered the "norm" in human society.

GOOD WILL HUNTING

Will and Chucky are best friends and they sincerely care about each others well being.
Skylar has a lot more money than Chucky and she is more educated.
Wills values have changed by the end of the film and only by a small degree.

Freakonomics

Lies, cheating, and hidden, unexpected truths are the common theme of these stories. The approach of these researchers is to think in different ways and when discussing a Liberal Arts education we brought up the importance of training the mind to think in in different ways. I remember being surprised by some of the information about 'black' names versus 'white' names. I think that the researchers don't have any interest in the results going one way or an other, so I think that they must try and be as fair as possible when presenting their ideas.

Interviews

If I were to interview any two people who I thought could help me get where I wanted to be twenty years from now, I would choose my little sister and my best friend Holly. My sisters name is Olivia and she is one of the smartest people I know. I picture myself to be with Holly and Olivia twenty years from now. Other than including them in my life, I don't have much of an opinion of where I end up. I would ask them about themselves and how their see themselves living twenty years. This would help me get an idea of what kind of things I may have to prepare in order to coordinate my future with theirs.

The Social Network

This film relates to my situation in college because it is about college students.
I think the filmmakers were demonstrating an exaggerated case of somebody who makes choices in life for the wrong reasons. Somebody who thinks that achieving a certain social status will bring them happiness can become so obsessed with their goal that they really only end up ruining things for themselves and causing pain for others, sometimes their closest friends.
I definitely don't empathize with any one character more than an other.
I don't believe that there are any villains or heros in life. Mark Zuckerberg is a human, like everybody else, experiencing life.
